  • These shows do nothing but annoy me. FAIR has done really good work on this. These shows always tilt conservative and Republican. When the Democrats are in power, the shows tilt slightly Republican. When the Republicans are in power, the shows tilt way Republican.

    What do we have here?

Meet the Press: slightly Republican, but even more conservative.

Face the Nation: fairly balanced, but I don't know what's going on with the two Time guys. Also: there is no liberal firebrand to counter Noonan.

This Week: fairly balanced regarding Republicans and Democrats, but the center of gravity of the show may collapse on itself and create a political black hole with the combined recklessness of Reince Priebus and Ann Coulter.

State of the Union: Two Republicans and one Democrat. Balance!

Fox News Sunday: I think I just had a stroke. Three strong conservatives, center-right (But plays a liberal on Fox!) Juan Williams, a reporter who is probably center left and quiet, and the former Press Secretary of the President. Fair and balanced!

This is a big part of the problem in the United States. Most of the people in this country have specific policy views that are more liberal than the Democrats on these shows. And yet, the shows can't even seem to find enough Democrats.

    This is madness!

    (Also: Soylent Green is people!)
